Carthamus tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil

Safflower oil is a plant oil commonly known for its benefits for the skin. It contains fatty acids, with linolenic acid being the primary component, which helps to reduce dryness and maintain the skin's hydration levels. It works as an emollient, providing moisture and promoting a soft and smooth complexion.

Sclerocarya birrea (Marula) Seed Oil

Marula oil is an odourless plant oil that hydrates and nourishes the skin. It contains fatty acids like palmitic and stearic acids that help restore and maintain the skin's moisture, promoting a radiant appearance.

Pentylene Glycol

A humectant that helps keep the skin hydrated. It binds well to water and aids penetration of other ingredients in your formulas, improving texture and providing mild preservative properties.

Squalane

Squalane is an emollient that hydrates and has skin-repairing benefits. It restores suppleness, prevents moisture loss, acts as an antioxidant, and strengthens the skin's barrier, thus protecting against environmental damage. It's a biocompatible, lightweight, non-greasy ingredient derived from sources like olive, wheat bran, rice bran, and amaranth oils, which means the skin recognises and effectively utilises it when applied.

Moringa oleifera Seed OIl

Moringa seed oil is a non-fragrant plant oil that nourishes and moisturizes the skin. It also protects the skin from environmental damage and premature ageing. This oil is rich in antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, and E, as well as zeatin and quercetin. Moringa seed oil is known to have a soothing effect on the skin, thanks to its amino acid content and plant sterols. It has a light texture and is less likely to feel greasy on the skin compared to heavily saturated oils.

Carbomer

Carbomer is a unique ingredient used to enhance the texture and consistency of various products. It acts as a thickener and increases the viscosity of the formula, allowing for a gel-like texture. Moreover, carbomer can also enhance the permeation and retention of active ingredients, making them more effective on the skin.

Olea europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil

This emollient plant oil is excellent for dry skin, particularly in its fatty acid content, which contains palmitic, oleic and linoleic acids. As a result, it is incredibly nourishing and hydrating. Moreover, olive oil’s antioxidant benefit helps protect against environmental damage.

Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil

Avocado oil is an excellent source of skin-replenishing fatty acids. It contains omega-3 linolenic acid, omega-6 linoleic acid, oleic acid, and beta-sitosterol. These fatty acids work together to lock in moisture, prevent water loss, and hydrate the skin, thereby reducing signs of dehydration. Avocado oil is also rich in natural antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, D, and E. These vitamins not only replenish and soften the skin but also have soothing properties that can help calm the skin. The oil extracted from avocado seeds contains polyphenols like catechin, epicatechin, and 3-leucoanthocyanidins. These polyphenols act as powerful antioxidants, neutralizing various types of free radicals and protecting the skin from damage.

Rosa canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil

Rosehip oil is a non-fragrant plant oil that offers multiple benefits. It is a potent moisturiser, providing hydration to dehydrated skin. Additionally, rosehip oil is rich in beneficial fatty acids that help soothe and strengthen the skin's barrier function. It is also a source of antioxidants, including vitamins C and E, which help protect the skin from environmental damage and signs of premature ageing.

Prunus armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil

A gentle, nourishing oil that delivers moisturising and skin-restoring benefits. This premium ingredient is rich in vitamins A, C, and E, which help protect the skin from free radicals.

Ceramide NP

It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Glyceryl Caprylate

It also acts as an emulsifier and cleansing agent, aiding in the formulation and stability of skincare products. Derived from glycerin and coconut-derived caprylic acid, Glyceryl Caprylate also helps boost the efficacy of preservative systems in skincare formulations.

Tocopherol

Vitamin E is one of the best-known antioxidants, offering effective defence against pollutants. It also works as a supporting ingredient to help stabilise vitamin C.

Ethylhexylglycerin

Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin is a synthetic skin-softening agent. As a preservative, It can boost the efficacy of other preservatives, such as phenoxyethanol. In addition, it has been shown to have mild humectant properties leading to improved skin hydration.

Sodium Hyaluronate

This salt is a form of Hyaluronic Acid. It helps maintain moisture levels and suppleness of your skin. In addition, since it’s more bio-available, it’s better absorbed into your skin than regular Hyaluronic Acid. So you get even better results!

Sodium Gluconate
